We ended up staying in town an extra day because we had been off work for more than 30 days and no one working Saturday could put us back on duty. If we had left Sunday we would have gone to CO, instead we are heading to FL via OH.

OH was the only place that had a little one going that was enroute to anything else. We were still talking about it at 8 am when the company opened and we watched trips disappear while I was on hold.

Finally got going after the traffic got lighter, made it to Iowa a little after noon. The RV BB left in WY is still in the shop, it wasn't a quick fix ... it's been a couple of months and she won't get paid until it delivers.

Mine is a new type of RV, an Intent, first time I've ever seen one. It was laying flat on E with a range of about 50 miles so I stopped in Forest City and put in enough gas to get to Clear Lake. This is the first anything were you put gas in the rear of the unit that I've seen.

Saw another accident that just happened near IA City. Last time I watched it happen. It looked like both times a trucker cut a car off and sent them into a spin and the cement median.

We were able to get to Moline just after sunset but while it was still a little light.

Montana Jack's is within walking distance. I had the salad bar and BB had pulled pork. Good food. Not much for salad toppings but the other items on the salad bar are good.

Quality Inn ... heat is not on yet so they gave us a space heater. :)
