We are up and ready to go by 8 AM when the shop opens. I give them 15 minutes and then call them. 'They are working on it.' I told them I would call back before noon.

I call back just about 11 AM, and am told that 'They now have the parts' ... but the crew is going to lunch and I wouldn't be able to get an answer until after noon.

Our car has to be back by noon so we head out. I fueled and BB walked next door to McD's. I put in 2 gallons of fuel even though the gauge was still on full

We drop off the car and they give us a ride back to the motel.

Later I call the shop back and am told it won't be today, maybe tomorrow by noon. (I won't put any money on it.) Then I call my dispatch and give them an update on voicemail.

I eat my leftover, take a walk and settle back into our routine.

Later we walk next door to the Cafezinho. So that we don't have to walk back in the dark, we get our food to go. BB orders a turkey and I order the meatball sandwich again, for the 3rd time. Small menu. We also order cookies and juice for me.
