2 RV's heading to North Carolina (Selma-delivered and Wilmington)

... spending the night at Wilmington NC

Left out almost on time this AM.

1st stop was at Lambsburg at the Loves. Just habit, we could have driving another mile and stopped at the welcome center and it would have been a faster in and out.

2nd stop was the Loves in Mebane for food. And fuel, that wasn't planned. But based on our range we were not going to make it to our drops so we both put in a little. I took the mpg off my dash and divided the miles to go by that. It showed my mpg was 15, but my gauge went up based on 20 mpg. So now I have 40 extra miles range.

Food was Godfathers pizza off the shelf. After they rang it up, I asked for a cup for water. Sorry, they would have to ring that up separate. ??? (no thanks)

3rd stop was BB's drop in Selma. First she stopped at the BP for final fuel and I headed to the drop and parked outside the gate as not to confuse them.

When we were stopped at the drop I took the time to call about my last trip, I still have not been paid. They looked and opps, no issue, someone just forgot to hit the last key to get me paid.

That extra mileage I thought I had disappears fast ...

4th stop is in Rocky Point at Shell for fuel. The pumps will not accept our rewards cards, so no discount on my 2-1/2 gallons.

5th and final stop is the Comfort Inn in Wilmington. Same place as we stayed last time.

For food we walk to the same Mexican place we found on our walk last time. We could have walked to Jason's Deli but it was 'too hot' to walk that far ... 1 mile each way. It is 77 degrees today. So I shed my two coats and my winter cap.

Another un-eventful day. Not a bad thing.

My digital dash switched back to kilometers. I tried a few things to get it to stay on miles but none of them worked.

US - 618 - (this jumped to 638 before dispatch opened the next morning)

IA - 333/325

NC - 29

NC has FL trips :)

When there was two we didn't want them, then we found cheap rental cars out of FL but by then the trips were gone. Now there is one again but one does not pay heading away from home. No trips currently back to the midwest. We are looking at a few trips that would pay, but we have to balance that around getting them delivered before the weekend. And being able to do one more trip before Easter and our dentist appointments.

As of now we have a rental car to pick up in the AM that needs to be back in MN by Saturday AM. Three days. It gives us some time to do an extra leg ... or two.

We are looking at the old trips out of IA and because we will be leaving on Fri or Sat we want one that is 1,000-1,500 miles so that we deliver on Monday. Then three days home means Thursday. Right now there is not any one day trips and no deliveries on Saturday that would allow us to be home on Sunday.

... and it is spring ... not sure if there will be a tractor calling my name this year or not yet.
