2 RV's heading to Manteca CA

... spending the night at Manteca CA

Not much for excitement today. We had gone to bed last night at 9:30 central (7:30 local) and I didn't wake up until 6:30 local. BB had gotten up for a while after being in bed because the people at the pool were so loud.

Two people working the breakfast area. But they still were out of biscuits, the juice machine was out of OJ and the first yogurt I grabbed was out dated. But the bacon was good ...

Before it got to warm we went for a walk. We have walked this area before, it is mostly a good neighborhood once we get away from the business area. As we walk past the Motel 6 there is someone typing his carts together but that was it for the homeless this AM.

At noon we walked to a Mr Pickle sandwich shop. They did have a chicken salad sandwich but not the croissants, so I get a cheesesteak instead. But I had to sub half the items they had listed on their menu to get it so I could eat it. (It came with a lot of 'hot' items)

Later in the afternoon we walked across the street to Taco Katrina food truck that was in the gas station parking lot. BB and I each got a chicken quesadilla and I also got a beef taco. Turns out the quesadilla was twice as much as either of us could eat and the taco was so hot that I only took one bite. So now we have food for breakfast tomorrow.

From the gas station we could see a few homeless sitting in the shade next to the station. Across the parking lot there were one or two people with four carts getting settled in for the night.

We have now done our reset so we are good to run 14 hour days next week :)
