1 trash truck to South Sioux Center IA (Wednesday)

... spending the night at home.

Snow wasn't really an issue on the ground. But the radar showed snow all day from here to Montreal Canada.

We had planned on not working so we did not.

Closer too noon, I called local dispatch and agreed to do the two trips we had talked about. At that point nothing better had showed up with the load board carrier.

At some point there were three trips that came on the IA load board, some drivers must not have been able to make it in.

Late afternoon we stop in to pick up my paperwork. It is not there so I have to see the dispatcher, they have my paperwork in their hand. Seems they had called the drop and they were not expecting a truck so dispatch had to confirm the drop address. They were just reading the reply when I walked in. I'm still going to Sauk Rapids.

There are now three IA trips under 500 miles and three MN trips.

With the short days I'm not sure we can do one truck on Wednesday and one on Thursday and still do the bus on Friday. We had talked about leaving out today but that didn't happen either. Not a lot of trips and we aren't pushing it.

Earlier today, local dispatch did contact me to see if I wanted a ride to Dodge Center tomorrow, they have a shuttle going down at 7:30 (instead of 6 AM.) I'm still not ready for the shuttle rides. We'll do it our way.

And earlier today there had been two trips out of Sheldon which is 5-10 miles from my 2nd trash truck drop. But those two were gone quickly. But the bus is still there ...
