BB just had to keep digging until she found out there was something called the 'California King' bed ... and we are in California :)

We have an alarm to remind us to call in to work every morning ... and that is when we got up. 10 hours or so of sleep.

Coffee maker in the room didn't work, front office was closed because they were away making breakfast. So BB had to wait until breakfast for her coffee. Bacon was good, scrambled eggs were instant and cut. Should have stuck with just yogurt, I was planning on switching off between the two but it's been mostly eggs this trip.

Wifi is bad here, I think I've reconnected here in one day more than I would at home in a year. Even when it is connected the signal is weak. And I'm trying not to do anything to be saved on my computer as I am still backing up my new computer. So everything I do is online.

We finally went for a walk around the outlet center across the freeway. Two major streets cross in the center of it and there are other, non-outlet business' kind of in the middle of it.

Between the motel and the freeway there is a creek/spill way that is fenced off, somehow that is where the homeless people get into and camp out.

As we are walking from one outlet area to the other we had to cross the street, just as the walk light comes on there is a TOOT, then another and another. BB thought it was for the walk light ... nope. It was the cop up the street trying to wake up someone sleeping on the grass. Next he turned on the siren, then finally got out of the car. By the time we came past there again both the cop and the sleeper were gone.

We walked down to our drop so now we know where to go, what to do when we get there in the AM.

It was still too early for lunch so we stopped at McD's and BB got a pop and I got a cookie. We used self service, but finally BB went back up to the counter to see how long it would take them to get to our order ... and I got the wrong kind of cookie. We hung out there for a half hour before walking through part of the outlet center again and then going to In-n-Out.

There was a line when we ordered, not when I picked up my food, but again as we were leaving. We aren't doing anything today ... not that we ever do much for physical work. But I didn't want to eat too much so I only got a single. That means there are twice as much tomato and three times as much lettuce as there is meat. We also split a fry.

After eating we walked the few blocks back to the motel where we again fought with the WiFi.

Finally five hours later we walk back under the freeway to eat again. I had looked at the map wrong so we crossed the street twice where we should have had to at all. There was a Garlic Cafe in town, but it closed at 1 PM today and by the time we read that it was too late to get there by then. That was the #3 place out of 160 in Gilroy. Last nights Black Bear was #4.

Tonight we end up at the Ginger Cafe. Asian place, food comes table group size, but BB and I each ordered something ... and finished it so we are both full. Walked straight back, we didn't have to be rolled. :)

Gilroy ... is the garlic capital of the world ... and it smells pretty good out today. Crisp blue sky today, no smoke. Little too much sun for me today. I'm guessing I will be paying for it.

Back to work tomorrow.
